7月4日、タワーレコード限定でソニー・ミュージックのフュージョン音源から珠玉の30曲を集めた2枚組コンピレーション・アルバムが発売される。この中にジャコ・パストリアスが参加したウェザー・リポート作品『Heavy Weather』から2曲が収録されている。Disc-1のオープニングに《Birdland》、そしてDisc-2のクロージングに《A Remark You Made》。
ちなみにこのコンピ盤は1970～1980年のフュージョン黄金期の楽曲をタワーレコードが企画・選曲し、レーベル単位でまとめたシリーズもので、2017年7月からからこれまで2作品がリリースされている。第一弾はワーナー・ミュージック音源の『EVERYBODY FUSION! The Best Fusion of Warner Days』、第二弾はビクターの音源の『ANYTIME FUSION! The Best Fusion of Victor Archives』。
