映画「タクシー・ドライバー」のエンディング・テーマの演奏でも知られるサックス奏者トム・スコットの1978年作品『Intimate Strangers』。バックを固めているのはリチャード・ティー（key）、エリック・ゲイル（g）、ゲイリー・キング（b）、ラルフ・マクドナルド（per）、スティーブ・ガッド（ds）の面々。ジャコの参加はは《Loving & Leaving – Lost Inside The Love Of You (Reprise)》一曲のみ。アルバムを占める1970年代のクロスオーバー全盛期のサウンドが懐かしい一枚。

聴きどころは#1《part 1 – Sudden Attraction》～#3《part 3 – Loving and Leaving》までの組曲。中でもジャコが参加した#3《Lost Inside the Love of You (Reprise)》が異彩を放つ。出だしのフレットレス・ベースの音を聴いた瞬間に思い出すのは、ジョニミッチェルの『Mingus』に収録されている《God Must Be A Boogie Man》。ジャコのトーン、弦を爪弾く間合いもよく似ている。
